The new 20-franc silver coin from Switzerland features the famous Steamship Uri. The coin is a part of the "Swiss steamboats" series. The oldest paddle-boat in Switzerland, Uri has been used since 1901. It is also the oldest ship of the SGV fleet (Lake Lucerne) which has approximately travelled two million kilometres. 800 passengers can board the ship with first- and second-class tickets. The Uri is constructed on the basis of the Sulzer design of paddle steamer. They exhibit great nautical behaviour. They are stable during stormy weather and conserve fuel.
