The demand for Australian bullion coins has increased considerably in January. The sales picked up well since October and its silver sales increased the most in March. 72,745 ounces of gold was sold with a 14.7% increase from December and 52.3% from January 2016. Silver bullion reached 1,230,867 ounces, crossing the 1 million mark for the first time in three months. The number is double of the earlier month. But it is 16.5% lower than last year's figure.
