Commemorative Stamp of Vasantrao Srinivassa Sinai Dempo

Vasantrao, also known as Mr Vencatexa Sinai Dempo, was born on March 4th, 1916. He was raised in a religiously inclined household in Calapur (Santa Cruz), where orthodox rites were practiced daily. As a result, he had a strong sense of piety for his family's deities and respect for the head of the monastic school to which he belonged.He became more knowledgeable about the vast corporate world that existed outside of Goa as time went on. Due to their long history of land ownership, shipping, dealing in agricultural products, and underwriting, the Dempos are well regarded both for their moral character and their commitment to the community. Vasantrao's brilliance allowed him to continue and strengthen this illustrious history while establishing new product lines and business practices.
Departments of Posts released the commemorative stamp of Vasantrao Srinivassa Sinai Dempo on 4th March 2016, in recognization of his contribution to the Industrialists and Philanthropistic deeds done by him.
