Forest contributes towards preventing soil erosion and safeguarding over 80% of the creature species and earthly biodiversity. Forest prevents soil erosion and keeps soil pollution in check. It plays an important role in the water cycle and controls the moisture levels of our ecosystem.Forest keeps our natural resources within the forest beneficial for human beings and the environment. One should plant more trees to increase forest cover. Trees should be selected, according to the geographical conditions of a particular region, and proper care should be taken, during the growth of trees.
