This gold dinar issued by Kushan Empire king Kanishka II is listed for INR 1,00,000 in upcoming auction of Todywalla that will be held in Mumbai on May 23, 2022. The weight of this coin is around 7.84g. Kanishka II succeeded Vasudeva I, the last great ruler of the Kushan emperor.The obverse side of this gold dinar depicts standing king facing towards left, offering alter to left, garlanded trident above the altar, Brahmin letter ‘Vi’ to right. The reverse side of this coin depicts nimbate Ardoksho enthroned facing, holding garland and cornucopia, tamgha in upper left field and legend in right field, complete die impression on both sides.
