Myanmar’s Father of Nation on Banknote

Myanmar is bordered by Bangladesh and India to its northwest, China to its northeast, Laos, and Thailand to its east and southeast, and the Andaman Sea and the Bay of Bengal to its south and southwest. It is the largest country in Mainland Southeast Asia and the 10th largest in Asia by area.The 1 Kyat note of Myanmar features a General Aung San. He was a Burmese politician, activist, revolutionary, and the founder of the Myanmar Armed Forces. He is called the Father of the Nation of modern-day Myanmar. The reverse side of the banknote depicts a spinning wheel. The dimension of the note is 125 × 60 mm. It also has a portrait of General Aung San as a watermark.
The kyat is the currency of Myanmar. The term kyat derives from the ancient Burmese kyattha unit.
