Coin Collection Worth $40,000 Stolen

A coin collection worth $40,000 was stolen from an Oakville home on North Ridge Trail, near Glenashton Drive over the weekend. Police officials said that someone broke-in through the rare door of the residence, when no one was home to steal the coins along with some cash. Most of the coins stolen were gold and silver Canadians Maple Leaf coins. A single 5 oz. pure gold Maple Leaf coin is worth $12,000.
