Valangaiman Sankaranarayana Srinivasa Sastri, popularly known as SrinivasaSastri, was an Indian politician, administrator, educator, orator, and Indian Independence activist. Srinivasa Sastri was born to a poor Brahmin family.

Srinivas Sastri started his career as a schoolmaster in a local school, but; he was more interested in public causes, and his powers of oratory soon combined to bring him national fame.

To carry forward the social work, he joined the political and reform movement of the Servants of India Society in 1907, of which he became president in 1915.

Srinivas Sastri served as a member of the Madras Legislative Council between 1913 and 1916, the Imperial Legislative Council of India between 1916 and 1919, and the Council of State between 1920 and 1925. He also served as India's delegate to the League of Nations as a member of the Privy Council of the United Kingdom and agent to the Union of South Africa.
