Barack Obama Presidential Coin Designs Reviewed

Barack Obama is soon going to be featured on the latest Presidential medals. One of them would be celebrating the President’s first term while another one would be commemorating his second term. Designs have been sent and The Commission of Fine Arts was asked to review them on 16th June.One of the submitted designs features a front profile of Barack Obama while the other has a side profile portrait. The proposed design for the other side of the coin features two of his quotes, each from his first and second term oath respectively.
Barack Obama is serving as the 44th President of the United States, the first African American to be elected for this post and the first president born outside of the continental United States, Honolulu, Hawaii.
