Henry V is also called Henry of Monmouth; he sat on the throne of England in the year 1413 CE and ruled it until 1422 CE. Henry V was one of the most renowned kings in the history of England. He made England one of the strongest kingdoms in Europe. Henry V led two successful invasions of France cheering his outnumbered troops to victory at the 1415 Battle of Agincourt and eventually securing full control of the French throne. Henry V was immortalized in Shakespeare’s “Henriad” plays; Henry is known and celebrated as one of the greatest warrior kings of medieval England

The commemorative stamp was issued by the United Kingdom to commemorate him in the year 2008.
