John Adams was born on 30th October 1735; He served the United States of America as a 2nd president from 1797 to 1801, after serving as the first Vice President under President George Washington. He excelled as a lawyer and was the leader of American Independence from Great Britain. He was one of the earliest and most vocal advocates for colonial independence.

Before serving the United States of America, as a President, he was a leader of the American Revolution, achieved independence from Great Britain, and served the United States of America’s vice-President.

This commemorative Stamp was issued by the United States of America to commemorate him in the year 1986.
