On 6th June, 1,415,000 American Eagle silver bullion coins were allocated by the U.S. Mint for official sale. Out if this, 415,000 unsold coins were carried over from last week. 1 million coins get allocated weekly since January and unsold coins are carried forward to the following week.

A total of 649,500 coins were sold from the June 6th allocation, making a grand total sale number of 24,133,500 coins in 2016. 445,000 ounces of American Eagle gold bullion coins of various varieties were sold from the June 6th allocation. 101,500 1-ounce $50 American Buffalo .9999 fine gold coins were sold out of the last allocation.
