                           2016-06-06 Mon
From 9th to 11th June, the Long Beach Coin, Currency, Stamp & Sports Collectible Expo will be held at the convention centre in Long Beach, California. Many interesting and rare coins are going to be sold at the event, one such coin being the 1921-S Walking Liberty half dollar.Belonging to the famous Dr. James G. K. McClure Collection, this 1921-S half dollar is graded MS66 by NGC. The coin would be the first example to be auctioned in the last ten years with such a high grading. Experts state that since the coin is a well-circulated issue, only 200 1921-S halves exist in Mint State. Most of these coins though are graded MS64 and lower.
