Maximinus-I was the Roman Emperor, he ruled the Roman Empire from 235 to 238. It is said that Maximinus-I was the first soldier who rose through the rank became Roman Emperor. His reign marked the beginning of a half-century of civil war in the empire. Maximinus-I was from Thrace, it is said that before entering into the army he was a shepherd. Due to his impressive size and strength, he attracted the attention of the Roman emperor in 202 CE.
