Officials state that the coins will be made of spacecraft-grade titanium which is strong, light, and durable. These new uncirculated bitcoins are a part of the remaining 5.4 million bitcoins that will be issued at a later stage. These coins come from the block rewards in coinbase transactions and have no transaction history. The obverse features the bitcoin currency symbol and the BTCC logo combined to make a unique design. Other inscriptions include “BTCC MINT,” “ONE BITCOIN,” “V Series,” “2016,” and “Titanium.” The idea is to urge people to use bitcoins and promote its merits over traditional currency.
The reverse bears two stars to represent the generation number of the bitcoin block reward. Other inscriptions include “IN CRYPTO WE TRUST,” “1,000,000 BITS.” A tamper-proof hologram sticker encapsulates the private key securely.
