Young Numismatic Scholarship Winner Announced by PNG

The winner of the PNG’s 2016 Young Numismatist Scholarship competition, Spencer Kinkelaar from Morrow can attend one of the week-long 2016 ANA Summer Seminar sessions in Colorado Springs, Colorado. Kinkelaar and his parents are extremely excited and were pleasantly surprised when the results were out. His parents state that it’s indeed a wonderful learning opportunity for young numismatists like him.Kinkelaar was interested in coins from a very young age and was encouraged by this father who was an avid collector himself. He plans to study economics and finance as an undergraduate and then attend business and law school for post-graduate degrees.
Mr. Bauman was a prominent coin dealer with Manfra, Tordella & Brookes in New York City and inspired many numismatic professionals. In 2001 the memorial fund was created after his death in his memory.
The PNG is a nonprofit organization composed of many rare coin and paper money dealers all over the world.
