This coin was designed by Gregory Cameron, the obverse of this coin depicts the fifth effigy of HM Queen Elizabeth II designed by Jody Clack with the legend ‘Elizabeth II.D.G.REG.F.D’ with denomination around it.
The reverse of these coins features the royal crest or coat of arms with a crown of St Edward on the top with an ornamented frame surrounded with oak and olive garland. The number 65 is seen below the crest and the commemorative inscription ‘HER MAJESTY THE QUEEN” S SAPPHIRE JUBILEE 1952 to 2017’ within the rim.
