New $50 Banknote to Commemorate 50 years of Guyanese Independence

To celebrate 50 years of Guyanese independence, new $50 notes were issued by the Bank of Guyana on 12th May, 2016.Printed by De La Rue, this new release would be the first ever $50 notes issued by Guyana. Over the years the Bank of Guyana has been taking very important measures to maintain the financial stability of the country. The new release is like a celebration for all those efforts.
