Coins to Commemorate Geneva City’s Birthday

The 150th birthday of Geneva City and the 200th birthday of Geneva Township will be celebrated by issuing special commemorative coins.The obverse will feature the Geneva seal and the Geneva Township logo will be depicted on the reverse. The coins will be sold at $10 each. The coin launch is a part of the two-day celebrations that will be held on 21st and 22nd May. The coins can be purchased at the chamber office, Geneva City Hall on North Forest Street, or at any of the bank branches in Geneva.
A special event will also be organized where a scavenger hunt stamp card can be turned in for a commemorative two-sided wooden nickel.
