The ICC Women’s T20 World Cup is the ultimate celebration of women’s cricket where the best players in the world come together to compete in the game they love.

One of the most exciting sporting events of the year, the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 is being held in Australia from the 21st of February to the 8th of March. To celebrate what is set to be a historic year for the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup, the International Cricket Council (ICC), the Royal Australian Mint and retail partner Woolworths have teamed up to release a limited edition $2 coin.

The reverse of the coin carries an eye-catching design of a cricketer poised to strike the ball, surrounded by the vibrant colors of the ICC Women’s T20 World Cup 2020 logo. The inscription reads “Women’s T20 World Cup” at the top and the denomination value “20Dollars” at the bottom.

The obverse of the coin depicts bears the Ian-Rank Broadley portrait of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II, the 2020 year date, weight, and purity.
