Red Goes Green with UN

The United Nations Postal Administration features the famous angry bird characters on stamps to promote in a campaign of Earth Day. UN appoints Red – the angry bird an honorary United Nations ambassador for the occasion.10 Angry Birds stamps and se-tenant labels were issued April 22 to coincide with the signing of the Climate Change Paris Agreement. The stamps are denominated $1.15 each for use from the U.N. post office at U.N. headquarters.
The stamp pictures Red and other angry birds along with the Text at the top reads “UN Honorary Ambassador for Green.” Red’s name is inscribed in the lower left with “The Angry Birds Goes Green for a Happy Planet.”
The commemorative stamps feature Red taking action to aware people about deteriorating condition of the planet. The stamps come with the suggestions like Walk, cycle, or take public transport, Conserve water, Reduce, reuse, recycle, bring your own reusable bag to the store and much more.
Each stamp comes with such valuable message/ plan of action to eradicate pollution which will ultimately save our planet.
