The Royal Mint and the Government are looking for agencies to create awareness among the general public and businesses alike about the launch. The government believes that a well-executed launch is essential to avoid any kind of communication gaps and ensure a smooth transition from the ‘round pound’ to the new highly secure £1 coin.
Although introduction of new coins is nothing new, it is crucial for the masses to know all the information that they might require when the transition happens.
MullenLowe London was chosen for conducting advertising and promotional activities for the new plastic £5 notes featuring Sir Winston Churchill. The note will be put into circulation in the latter half of this year.
