One of Australia’s most loved marsupials, Koala gets to feature now on special 1/10oz 99.99% pure Gold Proof Coins, issued by The Perth Mint.

The reverse of this coin, released as the legal tender for Australia, depicts an adult koala sitting on a eucalyptus tree. Other inscriptions include ‘AUSTRALIAN KOALA’, ‘P’ mintmark, and ‘2015’.

The common effigy of Queen Elizabeth II along with the denomination is featured on the obverse on the 15 Australian Dollar face valued coin.

Mintage of this coin is limited to 1,500.
