The classic animated Disney film character, ‘Dumbo’ gets featured on a New Zealand Mint coin on its 75th Anniversary.

The obverse features Dumbo flying with Timothy in his hat. A circus tent and a hilly landscape are showcased in the background. Other inscriptions include ‘DISNEY’, ‘DUMBO’, ‘75th ANNIVERSARY’, and the metal composition.

10,000 silver pieces were minted and they are priced at $102.27 AUD apiece. 1,000 gold coins were also minted coins which can be purchased at $795.45 AUD a coin.

The obverse features the common portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, with inscriptions ‘ELIZABETH II’, ‘2016’, ‘NIUE’, the country of issue, and the denomination.
