European Red Fox Featured on Austrian 100 Euro Gold Coin

The latest coin released within the 2016 Austrian Mint's Wildlife series features a European red fox which is found majorly in the Northern Hemisphere.The fox is depicted sitting on wild grasses on the obverse. Ornamental scrolls and raised dots like a creeper are also shown. Other inscriptions include REPUBLIK OSTERREICH, 2016 and 100 EURO.
The reverse features an adult fox watching over two younger fox cubs. The three foxes are sitting under a tree. A wood mouse is shown beneath the middle fox.
The mintage limit of the 100 Euro 98.6% Gold Proof coin is 30,000.
