A new $20 Canadian 1 troy ounce of 99.99% pure silver coin features birch leaves with a semi-precious stone embellishment using the unique crystal-encrusted treatment. This coin is the second one of its kind, the first one, the 2016 $20 Majestic Maple Leaves with Drusy Stone 1 oz. Silver Coin is already sold out!

A portion of the coin has a unique fine drusy quartz with green tones. The natural crystal Drusy stone forms on mineral surfaces, mostly on quartz and agate.

The mintage limit of the coin is 5,500 and is priced at CAD $161.95. The coin can also be purchased in monthly installments.

Artist Tony Bianco designed the reverses featuring a green drusy stone leaf coming out from a branch of birch leaves and catkins with Art Nouveau-inspired frame of interesting wood and leaf forms. Inscriptions include 20 DOLLARS, 2017 and TB. Obverses feature Susanna Blunt’s effigy of Queen Elizabeth II with inscriptions ELIZABETH II, CANADA and D G REGINA.
