Arctic Fox Featured on Latest Canadian Coin

On 6th September, the Royal Canadian Mint released the third coin of the 4-coin “Predator vs. Prey” series – a 2017 Proof .9999 fine gold 25 cents coin featuring the Arctic Fox with three of its preys, the lemming, Arctic Hare and seagull.The reverse features a detailed portrait of the beautiful Arctic fox facing the right, looking for its prey. The series celebrates all the predators and preys which have to adapt to the extreme climatic conditions of North Canada.
Each of the four coins weighs 0.5 gram, has a mintage limit of 6,500 pieces, comes specially packaged and has a retail price of $79.95 Canadian.
