Niue’s Heart Shaped Silver Coin
The Government of Niue has thought out-of-the-box to design this special token of love. This uniquely shaped coin is two-sided and is split into two. When the left and the right sides come together they form a heart-shaped “always with you” silver Valentine, the ideal way to say “I love you”. The coin is designed in such a way so that one side can be kept with you and the other side is given to your partner.
Issued by Mint of Poland in Warsaw, each side carries deep red coloured designs with the message “ALWAYS WITH YOU”, whose first word 'ALWAYS’ is placed on one part and the other two words on 'WITH YOU’ the other side.
The obverse has two red heart-shaped Swarovski crystals, along with a miniature portrait of HM Queen Elizabeth, the year of issue and its denomination “ONE DOLLAR”.
2011 Scented Rose 100 BENIN Francs
Here’s another innovative option. It’s the first coin that can literally make you smell the real scent of love. A stemmed red rose is what romance is all about, but when it is inscribed on a coin, nothing can really beat that.
The obverse features a red rose, flanked by the words 'FAMEUSES PLANTES DU MONDE’ which translates to 'Famous plants of the world’, the year of issue '2011’ and 'ROSA INDICA FRAGRANCE’.
The reverse bears the emblem of Benin, the words 'REPUBLIQUE DU BENIN’ and its worth '100 FRANCS’ CFA’.
2014 Forever Love ½ oz Australian Silver Proof Coin
Here’s another Australian coin that will impress your partner for sure. The reverse design of this coin features two Major Mitchell Cockatoos, resting on a heart shaped branch, with one bird presenting its mate with a sprig of gum blossoms. The words “Forever Love” appear above, with “1/2 oz 999 Silver” below.
There are many more coins of the world that celebrates the season of love. The choice is yours totally!
