APMEX recently introduced new products in the Chiwoo Cheonwang medal series. The official mint of South Korea - KOMSCO, had released the country’s first bullion series in 2016. The first coin in this series was a 1 oz Silver medal celebrating the influential figure in Chinese and Korean cultures - Chiwoo Cheonwang. It was an instant hit among collectors and investors.

Chiwoo Cheonwang headed the Nine Li tribe in ancient China. He and his men won several battles which gave him the name God of War. The new coin features Chiwoo on horseback all set for a battle. Chiwoo Cheonwang’s shield is also depicted with KOMSCO’s logo. Other inscriptions include a latent security feature, date of minting, fineness, and denomination. 50,000 1 oz Silver medal and 2,017 Proof Silver and Gold medals have been released.
