ANS’s Next ‘Money Talks’ Session to Discuss Numismatic Books

The Newman Numismatic Portal, Bibliotheque de France, and other platforms are putting out old numismatic references and books online. The ANS is going to discuss this trend during an event called “Money Talks: Numismatic Book Collecting” on 18th November.Jonathan Kagan has been collecting rare numismatic books for 40 years. He along with David Hill, Francis D. Campbell Librarian, and ANS archivist will come together to discuss the possibility of collectible books and manuscripts which can be a part of private and public collections.
All kinds of coin collectors and enthusiasts are welcome at this monthly interactive lecture series from the ANS. Attendees get to see interesting coins, banknotes, and/or medals while learning about numismatics. The session is followed by a meal and a question-and-answer period. It is conducted on Saturdays at the ANS headquarters in New York City. A maximum of 20 people can attend the event. The Money Talks show on 18th November will take place from 1 p.m. to 4 p.m. Eastern Time. There is a fee of $30 for ANS members and $50 for nonmembers.
