Gold, silver and copper Inaugural Trump Dollars are going to be released by Bernard von NotHaus to mark the inauguration of Donald J. Trump as the 45th president of the United States on 20th January.

The designs are taken from the Trump Dollar medallions that were issued before the general election. The new coin design has appropriate inscriptions.

The obverse features a portrait of Trump, with the inscriptions UNITED STATES PRESIDENTIAL INAUGURATION. WORLD / PEACE, DONALD J. TRUMP / 2017.

A Brilliant Uncirculated 1-ounce .999 fine silver Inaugural Trump Dollar First Day Issue has a mintage 5,000 pieces, can be purchased for $35 each, and will bear von NotHaus’ personal hallmark. They would be accompanied with a special commemorative card and envelope. The BU silver version commemorative card and envelope are priced at $25 each.

The Proof silver version has no mintage limit and can be purchased for $39.95, whereas the Proof 1-ounce pure copper piece costs $5 each, with no mintage limit.

The Proof double-split gold piedfort medal is made using three stacked planchets. The outer planchets are made of .9999 fine gold and the centre planchet is made of a gold-plated 1-ounce .999 fine silver. They are available in the three-piece Proof set with the Proof silver and copper medals, for $1,995.

The coins are struck six times for creating the desired relief, while the Proof double-split gold piedfort is struck eight times.
