Commemorative Stamp of Major Durga Mall

India Post issued a commemorative stamp on Major Durga Mall on January 23th 2023, an Indian soldier in the INA whose dedication to the nation's liberation is highly regarded by the Indian Gorkha population. On August 25, the day Major Mall was hung, Gorkhas all over India commemorate the day as Balidan Diwas.The Saffron themed stamp has a portrait of him with the monument on the left which was inaugrated in 2004, by the then-Prime Minister Manmohan Singh in the Parliament complex.
