This one Azerbaijani manat banknote was one of eight different denominations of Azerbaijani manat banknotes that the Central Bank of Azerbaijan printed. They are a part of the present-day series of Azerbaijani Manat banknotes. These one-manat banknotes were first printed by the Central Bank of Azerbaijan in 2005. They continue to be in use even now.The 1 Azerbaijani Manat banknote's front side depicts traditional Azerbaijani instruments. Along with window decorations and a security threat, the Bir Manat bill also has maps of Azerbaijan and Europe on the reverse.
