2022-12-16 Fri

Shri Bomi Nagi Reddi, an accomplished publisher, film producer, philanthropist, and great lover of mankind, was born on December 1st, 1912, in Andhra Pradesh.

In less than ten years, B.N. Reddi transformed Vauhani Studios, where he began his career, into the largest studio in all of South East Asia.

After establishing "Andhra Jyoti", a socio-political monthly with his friend, and mentor Shri Chakrapani, he made the decision to print "Chandamama" in the aftermath of the unfolding Independence struggle to encourage the kids to stick together and always stand up for the truth.

With all of his accomplishments and several awards, B.N. Reddi's dynamism was still uncontained, and he began to work toward his goal of offering the public high-quality healthcare that was also reasonably priced. One of the biggest and most well-respected medical institutes in South India, Vijaya Medical and Educational Trust, was founded as a result of his aspirations.
