Samarth Ramdas was an Indian Marathi saint, philosopher, poet, writer, and spiritual master. Saint Ramdas was the devotee of Lord Rama and Hanuman. He is considered one of the greatest saints of the world.Samarth Ramdas did not hate any religion or nation; his main objective was the spread the Hindu religion throughout India. He wrote several kinds of literature during his lifetime. His works included Karunashtakas, Dasbodh, Antarbhav, Chaturthman, Aatmaaram, etc.
Samarth Ramdas served as an inspirational thinker to many historians and social reformers from the 19th and 20th-century. Social reformers like Bal Gangadhar Tilak, Keshav Hedgewar, Rajwade, and Ramchandra Ranade were his followers.
