The Indian National Army Commemorative Stamp

The Indian National Army is also known as Azad Hind Fauj, it was an armed force formed by Indian Nationalists in 1942. It was formed with armed force by Indian collaborationists and Imperial Japan on September 1, 1942; in Southeast Asia during Second World War II.

The Indian National Army; was first formed by Mohan Singh, a former officer of the British Indian Army captured in 1942 with Indian prisoners of the British Indian Army capture by Japan in Malayan Campaign. INA was revived by Netaji Subash Chandra Bose; in 1943. When Subash Chandra Bose took the leadership of INA in his hand much Indian youth wanted to Join INA. The Indian National Army and Netaji Subhash Chandra Bose were playing their remarkable part in the freedom struggle of India.

The Indian government had issued this commemorative stamp on Indian National Army to commemorate INA and Subhash Chandra Bose.
