This Gold Half-Ashrafi was issued by Nasir-ud-Din Haider from Dar-us-Sultanate Lakhnau suba Awadh is listed for INR 1,80,000 in the upcoming auction of Todywalla which will be held in Mumbai on 20th July 2019. The weight of this coin is around 5.3g and it was issued in the Hijri year 1250, in the 7th year of his reign.Nasir-ud-Din Haider was the second king of Awadh, he ruled Awadh from 1827 CE to 1837 CE. He sat on the throne of Awadh after the death of his father Ghazi-ud-din Haidar. The obverse of this coin is inscribed with the name and title of the king. The reverse of this coin depicts Crown flanked by rampant lions holding a flag, two upright fish below.
