Interesting Banknotes from Muszynski and Dauer Collections

Spink Auction would be offering 97 exciting banknotes from the Michael Muszynski Collection of Sub-Saharan Africa and 62 notes from the Joanne and Edward Dauer Collection of Burma, Ceylon and India on 17th and 18th April in London. All these notes are certified by PMG.Banknotes from the Muszynski collection reveal the history of France and its relation with other countries like Cameroon, the Central African Republic, Chad, Gabon and Mali. A 1,000 Francs note issued by French Equatorial Africa in 1940, graded PMG 55 AU is going to be offered at an estimated value of £12,000 to £16,000.
The Joanne and Edward Dauer Collection of Burma, Ceylon and India has been put together with a lot of effort over several years. An undated 100 Rupees note issued by Reserve Bank of India, Burma in 1937, graded PMG 25 Very Fine is going to be offered at an estimated value of £20,000 to £25,000. A 1,000 Rupees note of India issued in 1928, graded PMG 35 Choice Very Fine is going to be offered at an estimated value of £12,000 to £16,000.
Another highlight from the Ibrahim Salem Collection of British Commonwealth Banknotes includes a Five Pounds note of Bermuda issued in 1941, with Serial Number 1, which will be offered at an estimated value of £65,000 to £70,000.
