Massachusetts State Quarter Dollar

The United States of America has issued this Massachusetts States Quarter dollar in the year 2000. Massachusetts is the most popular state in the New England region of north-eastern United States. This quarter dollar first to be released in the year 200 and overall it is sixth released in 50 State Quarter Dollar Program.The state is named after tribe Massachusetts tribe; they have inhabited the east side of the area and is one of the original thirteen states. The capital of Massachusetts is Boston, a popular city of New England.
The obverse of this coin has a portrait of George Washington (the first president of United States of America from 1789 to 1797) facing towards left; with the inscription ‘UNITED STATES OF AMERICA’ at the top’ inscription ‘LIBERTY’ and ‘IN GOD WE TRUST’ written to the left and right side of the coin and ‘QUARTER DOLLAR’ written at the bottom. The reverse of this coin depicts a likeness of the celebrated Minuteman of the American Revolution against an outline of the state. The inscription ‘MASSACHUSETTS’ and date ‘1788’ is written at the top; ‘THE BAY STATE’ is written at the right side of the coin and year ‘2000’ and ‘E PLURIBUS UNUM’ is written at the bottom.
