George Washington 250th Anniversary Half Dollar

The United States of America had issued this silver Half dollar of George Washington in the year 1892 to commemorate the 250th birth anniversary of George Washington.George Washington has served his country United States as Commander in Chief of the Continental Army during the American Revolutionary War (1773-83). He had also served his country as a president of United States for two consecutive terms from 1789 to 1797. He is also known as the founding father of the United States of America. He presided over the Constitutional Convention of 1787 which established the new federal government, and he has been called the "Father of His Country".
The obverse of this coin depicts the portrait of George Washington sitting on the back of the horse. The reverse of the coin features Mt. Vernon.
