Stamp Exhibition Dedicated to Mahatma Gandhi

The year 2019 marks the 150th birth anniversary year of Mahatma Gandhi. To celebrate this momentous occasion, the department of posts from Tamil Nadu Circle is organising a three-day exhibition from 1st February to 3rd February at Sri Subhalakshmi Kalyana Mahal, MG Road, Muthialpet, Puducherry.Over 5,000 stamps depicting Mahatma Gandhi released in India and internationally will be showcased at this exhibition. 81 philatelists from Tamil Nadu will be putting up their collections on display. Special events such as postal cover designing, a workshop on philately and painting competition would also be held at the event.
