Muhammad Kam Bakhsh was the youngest son of Emperor Aurangzeb. He sat on the Mughal throne in the year 1707 CE; after the death of Aurangzeb. He ruled Mughal emperor for a very short period from 1707 CE till 1708 CE. As he has ruled for a very short period of time, coins minted by him are extremely rare.

Kam Bakhsh had assumed the throne at Bijapur and struck coins in his own name, and declared himself as Padshah Kam Bakhsh-i-Dinpanah (Emperor Kam Bakhsh, Protector of Faith).

This very rare silver rupee which weighs around 11.4g minted in Dar-ul-Zafar Bijapur during the first year of this reign. This coin is listed for INR 60,000 in the upcoming auction of Todywalla which will be held in Ahmadabad on 9th February 2019. The obverse of this coin is inscribed with the name and title of the King and the reverse of the coin is inscribed with the mint name.
