To address the world's largest religious and cultural human congregation Kumbha Mela 2019, a souvenir silver coin is issued.

This massive gathering is started with the holy dip at Sangam, the confluence of rivers Ganga, Yamuna and mythical Saraswati at Prayagraj early this morning. Around one crore 25 lakh people gather.

The obverse of this coin depicts a ghat of Kashi (Varanasi) on the whole flan with a raised rim. The reverse of the coin depicts legend ‘Kumbh Snan Souvenir’ in English and Devanagari script with a geometric design in the centre and ‘999’ and date 2019 below it.
