Commemorative Coin on Keelboat

A Keelboat is generally a long, narrow and cigar-shaped riverboat or unsheltered water barge. It is about seventy-feet in length and about 15 feet wide. They usually had a cabin in the middle or at the rear but were sometimes constructed with an open deck.The Keelboat was used by explorers and by traders. This Keelboat is also called a pole boat; it is designed in such a way it is used for the navigation of the river, shallow lakes.
Keelboats are similar to riverboats, but they are used for exploration, it was used by Lewis and Clark for an expedition. In the 19th Century, it was used to transport cargo or settlers.
The United States of America had issued its commemorative coin in the year 2004 with its image on the obverse side of the coin.
