Pobjoy Mint’s charming new collector's coin depicts the King Penguin’s journey as they waddle in a line aiming for a dip in the ocean and the outer ring depicts the parent penguins with their chicks. This commemorative coin has a unique central design of a King Penguin Chick engraved in Crystal.

Available in Proof Sterling Silver, each coin has been struck four times to produce the superlative Pobjoy Proof finish. Approved by Buckingham Palace each 2 euro coin bears a fine effigy of Her Majesty Queen Elizabeth II on the obverse at the top centre of the outer ring.

These coins depicting the adorable penguins of the Antarctic have a diameter of 38.60 mm weighing 23.45 gms and the issues are limited to a mere 5,000 coins only.
