Serbian Stamp Designed by an Indian Child

Serbia Post issued a stamp featuring “Joy of Europe”. The most interesting feature of this stamp is that the stamp was designed by a 10-year-old Indian Child."The Joy of Europe" is the biggest and oldest international festival celebrating the creativity of children. Organised since 1969, the event is celebrated on Children’s Day every year. At the beginning of October, children of various European countries gather at Belgrade to display their artistic skill.
This time in 2015, an Indian Child, Dhanui Mihirbhai Doshi won the art competition and his work was selected as the design of a stamp.
This stamp worth 70 Serbian Dina depicts two Indian women. The stamp exhibits a beautiful combination of vibrant colour which reflects the Indian way of clothing.
