Men’s Hockey World Cup Celebrated on Indian Stamps

The first match of Odisha Men’s Hockey World Cup was organised at Kalinga Stadium on 28th November where the host nation India faced South African Hockey Team. To mark this momentous sporting event, Chief Minister of Odisha, Mr. Naveen Patnaik issued five commemorative postage stamps at the State Secretariat. This is the 14th edition of the Men’s Hockey World Cup in Odisha and the event will end on 16th December.A stall was put up at Kalinga Stadium were sports lovers got a chance to buy the new stamps. The Post Master also announced that these wonderful stamps will be displayed at the state-level exhibition which will be organised at Keonjhar from 15th to 17th December.
