Australia Post illustrated Reef Safari on stamps

Australia Post has released a beautiful set of five stamps to encourage people to go on the Reef safari. These stamps feature some of the diverse and threatened species found in the Great Barrier Reef. This Reef is Australia’s main tourist destination attracting millions of people over the years.This stamp is designed by Sonia Young of Australia Post Design Studio, these stamps depict creatures such as Nautilus, Olive sea Snake, Green Sea turtle, Emperor Angelfish and Grey Reef Shark. This great Reef consists of the world longest coral reef; the length of this unique natural wonder is 2300 Kilometres. It is also visible from space as it is the largest living structure in the world.
These stamps are issued to encourage the younger generation to learn about the environment and biodiversity of the Australian Great Barrier Reef.
