Chris and Rosina Reid created the reverse design which depicts the gingerbread man holding a candy cane as he joyfully slides down a snow hill. Other inscriptions include ‘CANADA 2015’, ‘FINE SILVER 9999 ARGENT PUR’ and ‘20 DOLLARS’.The obverse features Susanna Blunt’s portrait of Queen Elizabeth II, surrounded by inscriptions ‘ELIZABETH II’ and ‘D G REGINA’.
Since the series kicked off in 2011, seventeen other such Holiday themed coins were released like the magical reindeer, Santa, and a festive snowman.
