Women’s World Cup was celebrated by Canadian Mint in 2015 with a set of beautiful commemorative coins. The event was successfully conducted in host cities like Moncton, Montréal, Ottawa, Winnipeg, Edmonton and Vancouver from June 6th to July 5th 2015.

Artist Joel Kimmel's design captures the thrill of a player going in for a big kick. The coin's flowing background shapes emphasize movement to capture the excitement of the moment. The set include 9 designs namely:

GO CANADA, GO!, THE KICKER, THE GOALIE, HEADING THE BALL, CELEBRATION, CANADA WELCOMES THE WORLD, THE SOCCER BALL, THE CHAMPIONSHIP GAME, THE TROPHY.
